Our Wallbeds are delivered by appointment, and the boxes are carried to the room of your choice by professional staff, (instead of left on a pallet in your driveway…in the rain).
Our Delivery does not include un-boxing and assembling your wallbed, and you can check the wallbed assembly details by clicking the “Video” tab above.
Delivery usually takes 10 days or less to arrive at your home, the variables being distance + weekends + Holidays + appointment scheduling. We ship from stock, so it’s always much faster than made-to-order.
Wallbed RECEIVING, SERVICE & RETURNS
When you receive your delivery, please inspect the boxes for exterior damage. If you see one that seems to have had some rough treatment – don’t be alarmed because our boxes are designed to absorb impact and keep the contents safe.
Please carefully open the box and inspect the contents for damage without discarding the packing materials. If the parts are not damaged, the box did its job!
Please open all boxes carefully and keep the boxes and the packing materials until your wallbed is installed complete, just in case you need to make a return.
If there is damage to the contents of a box – please contact us because we can replace any individual box of your shipment free of charge, and will send it out to you immediately.
Replacement parts: We support our customers for 5 years with replacement of all small hardware parts such as lost/missing/abducted-by-aliens/whatever nuts, bolts, screws, euro-slats, handles, knobs, door stops, etc. etc. at no charge, regardless of fault. (But replacement springs are $2.)
In the event we cannot satisfy you with our services described above within 30 days of delivery, please re-pack the parts in the original boxes with packing material, and contact us. We will arrange pickup of the complete boxed return and refund your money in full.
- We warrant the wood parts to be free of manufacturer defect for 2 years.
- We warrant the Metal Bed Counter-Balance System – including the box-iron Spring Carriage Base and Bed Tray to operate without failure for 10 years. (Springs are not included because they fatigue based upon individual use habits, usually lasting between 3 to 6 years. We sell replacement springs for $2 each to verified customers, so when you need some, just call us.)

IS THERE ANY ASSEMBLY REQUIRED?
Yes, Wallbeds require assembly – which you can do yourself with very few tools by following our printed Assembly Instructions and Assembly Video which you can see by clicking on the “delivery” tab above.
WHAT IF I DON’T THINK I CAN ASSEMBLE THE WALLBED?
A lot of customers will find a local Handy Person on Craigslist, or Angie’s List, or by recommendation of a friend. Such Handy Adventurers can view our assembly video and printed instructions and assure you that they can do this! Another tried and true method is to bribe friends and neighbors with pizza and beverages.
What size Mattress will fit my Wallbed:
All of our wallbeds take standard queen size mattresses with maximum dimensions of 59.5”W x 79.5”D x 10”H. All standard queen size sheets and bedding will work just fine.
Furthermore - if you use a mattress that is 8" thick, this will allow you the space to keep your mattress pad, top and bottom sheets, and a comforter on the bed "Made Up" when not in use - so when your guests arrive, you're pouring the the wine instead of making the bed!
